2008South Tahoe Optimist Relays Retro Relays Friday, October 1st, 2010 Coaches, Don’t know what to do with all of those old cross country uniforms that you have stacked up in your team room? Well we have the answer! Dust off those old boxes and bust out those crusty old uniforms ‘cause the 23rd annual South Tahoe Retro Relays is on! Don’t have enough of one set to fit all of your team, no worries! The uniforms don’t have to match, just the school name on the unis. Tube socks and head bands are groovy! Each relay team will be assigned race numbers so we all can keep track of your team. The cost for your school is only $50.00. The more relays teams you have the more bang you get for your buck. And if you need to, you can bring your check to the meet. We are limiting the number of school to 20 because there is some single track trail, so sign up ASAP! All runners will run 2.0 miles on a course that is both hilly and spectator friendly. All runners will start & finish in our football stadium and of course we will be playing retro music to complete the setting. Same course as last year due to the forest fire. Coaches are invited to put together “coaches teams” and compete in the race. Let’s find out how fast you really are!
